On my mobile phone I use the notebook function to make quick notes when I am in a train or somewhere I don't have access to my PC. Of course, writing a quick SMS is what I often do when I have bad phone connections or want to confirm an appointment. MMSing is fun, too - as sometimes a pic can tell more than 450 letters.
And of course my mobile phone is a perfect substitute for my childhood's classic Casio watch, which had a calculator, played tunes and was my reliable alarm clock! Depends on the projects: mostly I am in touch with my graphics team, my printer and of course with my better half. A very tricky question. Maybe I would need more memory, a concierge a la Vertu, and a flat rate for life.
How about Skype on my mobile phone? And Synchronization with my Outlook contacts?
I once used my phone as a passport to identify myself as Kimberly Lloyd. I had forgotten my invitation to a VIP political event, and I did not have an official identification card with me. So I tried all I could to convince the security:

How could I be in possession of Kimberly Lloyd's mobile phone, if I was not her? So I switched off the phone and switched it on again. The mobile device was personalized, showing my name on the screen, and thereafter I was allowed to enter the site. I loved my mobile phone from that day on.
